About the Contributors

Rain Munkhbat, News Editor
Rain Munkhbat is a first year Echo staff member. He is in the class of 2025.

Sam Kellner, Echo Staff
Samuel Kellner is first year Echo staff member. He is class of 2028 and joined journalism because he wanted to expand his writing skills and learn more about journalism as a whole; as it is a subject he has not known a lot about previously. He is a part of the school’s Cross Country team and so far is enjoying it! Another cool club he has joined is the film club, who watch films everyday at lunch. Some things he likes to do outside of school are reading, watching and talking about films, listening to music and playing video games.

Ava Brandt, Arts and Entertainment Editor
Ava Brandt is a first year journalism student, and in the class of 2026. She is excited to develop her journalistic skills, and she is about to break the fourth wall because she doesn’t like talking about herself in the third person. I decided to join the Echo staff this school year because I enjoy writing and I enjoy Mr. Linville’s teaching. Outside of our educational institute, I enjoy acting, spending time with friends, drawing, and watching movies. I am eager to begin writing for the Echo, and this school year I hope to cover important issues among the Encinal students and Alameda community.

Rory Harling, Echo Staff
Rory Harling is a first year Echo staff member. She is class of 2027 and joined journalism because she wanted to practice her writing and share meaningful stories with her peers. She enjoys working in her hometown, being with her family, and playing water polo.
